Lasagna Cupcakes™

lasagna cupcakes

Back in 2009  Heirloom LA came up with the idea of individual sized portions of lasagna now known as the world famous Lasagna Cupcakes™ that hold their shape after being heated up and can be eaten with your hands! Although the flavors defy traditional recipes, they retain the integrity that any nonna inspires… hand-rolled pasta, fresh cheeses and herbs, seasonal, organic vegetables, and humanely raised meats. Lasagna Cupcakes™ have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Vogue MagazineThe Jay Leno Show, and on The Food Network's The Best Thing I Ever Ate. Pulitzer Prize Winning Food Writer Jonathan Gold calls our Lasagna Cupcakes™ "the takeout dish of the year", and goes on to say that they "pack more flavor than lasagnas 20 times their size." Don't stop at one flavor, you'll want to try them all!

Lasagna Cupcake Heating Instructions

From Frozen:
Keep frozen until ready to bake.
Preheat oven 400° F (Oven temperatures may vary. Adjust bake time and temperature as necessary.) Remove Lasagna Cupcake from the cellophane packaging and place on a baking sheet in the center rack of your oven. Bake 30-40 minutes, but if you like the cheese to be crispy on top, cook for an additional 5-7 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to rest for 5-7 minutes. After resting, remove the Lasagna Cupcake from their paper ramekin and place them so that they stand upright on a plate.

To Reheat:
Preheat Oven 400° F
Remove all packaging from already cooked Lasagna Cupcakes and place them on a baking sheet. Cover them with aluminum foil and bake until warm and cheese is melty. This takes 17-20 minutes from the refrigerator or 12-15 minutes from room temperature.
