This one is really fun and super addictive, and best of all, can be made ahead of time so that all you need to do is reheat these wings come game time. The most complicated thing about this recipe is cleaning the bone. I’m going to explain how to do it, but you can skip this step, they’ll just be messier and more traditional without the “lollipop stick” to hold.

Paramour Mansion that presides above all of Silverlake but our friend Autumn has giddily described it to us for ages so we were really excited when she invited us to a little birthday party at this iconic estate…. and of course we insisted on cooking!

We took our food truck out to Mc Grath Farms in Camarillo and parked in their pumpkin patch where we cooked a five course plated dinner with appetizers and cocktails. Guests got a tour of the organic family farm and then dined off beautiful plates from Casa de Perrin as the sun set over this magical dinner shot here by our friends at Shark Pig.

It’s finally feeling like fall here in Los Angeles, so tonight on the truck at Silverlake Wine we are serving up our favorite menu of Breakfast for Dinner. If you’re nowhere near our truck tonight, here’s a recipe to make your own cold weather dinner!

PANCAKE SANDWICH WITH SAUSAGE GRAVY
Serves 4
1 large leek, halved, and sliced in half moons
2 breakfast sausages links, stripped from their casings
3 T butter
2 T all purpose flour
2 cups half-and-half
1 qt pancake batter
1 cup blueberry maple syrup (1 cup fresh blueberries boiled in 2 cups maple syrup, and reduced by half)
8 organic eggs
4 T creme frache
1 bunch chives, chopped
olive oil, se salt flakes, and black pepper to taste
